There are many opportunities for all ages to get involved at Camp JOY. From cleaning the grounds after the winter season, to helping in the kitchen with your church group, to praying and giving, the possibilities are nearly endless.
2020 Spring Clean-up Days
- Final clean-up with potluck dinner: Saturday, June 27th
Every winter season, ice, snow, wind, and rain cause disarray and general disorder to the camp grounds. Branches and sticks lay everywhere, and leaves clutter the ground and cover the sidewalks. But this isn't a time to hope someone will clean it all up before the camping season starts; rather, it is a chance for you to grab your own rake and chainsaw and head to Camp!
The scheduled clean-up days will be posted here as the dates are set. Please check back often, as weather plays a role in determining when a date is set or canceled. |

Church Kitchen Help
Every morning during Summer Youth Camp, members from local area churches meet at Camp JOY to help prepare for the noon meal. There is constantly much to be done, and the kitchen staff is always delighted for the extra hands.
